Blogging

So... I did not blog about my daughter being in Iraq.  I can say she made it home safe and sound.  Yes, there were many crying jags and sleepless nights out of this mother.  She came home all in one giant girly piece last Thanksgiving.  She was married in December last year at the age of 20.  At 35, I could be a grandma but THANK GOD she wants to wait until she's at least 30.  *sigh*

So my husband and I have agreed to go raw.  Completely.  I don't know how the 13 year old son is going to handle this.  I guess he will have to deal.  We are ready.  The only thing I am not ready for is for family to ask us what we eat, etc.  We aren't going to announce it to the world but they are Italian.  When you don't load up it means something is wrong with you....on my side and his.

I will give an extended update sometime in the future.  I haven't gone anywhere.  Just busy baking cupcakes for the world.

All Things

Dear Blog World,

Today is my very first blog post.  I love cameras.  I love photography.  I love old fashioned.  I love alternative.  I love not doctors.  I love sparkles.  I love the unusual.  I have a million cats and a dog.  I have a daughter in Iraq.  I have a tween son in private school.  We go to church, yet we are open minded and love as many people as we can.  Do we make it every Sunday?  No.  We do go when we are able though and believe that God is not going to punish us for missing a Sunday here and there.

I used to eat meat until I realized how nasty it was.  Even as a kid I hated meat.  Anyway, I am going raw whole foods instead of vegetarian carb loaded "fat ass" foods.  My husband and son still eat meat.  I just can't.  I also bake the worlds best cupcakes (how ironic) and they are vegan.   Old recipe.  You will see pictures and I will talk about everything.

Brace yourselves.

Love,

T.
